The Stone Oak/Bracken Dance Company is a Competition Team made up of talented students who love to dance and want to be a part of an elite group of dedicated individuals. The BDA/SODA Company is about motivating young minds to be the best that they can be. This special program is designed for dancers who strive to accomplish an advanced level of training. But it is not just a dance education; it’s a total education. Team dancers learn life skills through performances, attending unique workshops, working as a team and so much more. Our director, Kelsea Bucher, believes that being involved in competitive dance develops positive self-esteem, confidence, accountability, and leadership in young dancers. BDA will offer teams for ages 5 & up in a variety of styles and levels. Dancers are placed on teams at tryouts based on ability, skill level, and execution.
